I have had chronic sinusitis for 7 years and I know all too well, chronic fatigue, headaches and depression. If I was fecally incontineny I would much rather use diapers insead of getting SURGERY. I would always choose The quick, painless option that may be emarrasing rather than choosng the expensive and painful option.

My wife had this disease and sadly passed away on the 3rd of February 2022. She donated her organs and saved 4 people in the process. She was 36 when she got diagnosed in 2020 and her first operation was in September the same year. The operation went well but it turned out she had a bleeding and she was once again paralized on her left side. She got full time fysio therapy to regain the function in her left side for about 95% for 4 months. The next surgery was set in January 2022 for the left side of her brain and while the surgery went perfectly, the complications afterwards were devestating. It turned out that the left side of her brain was too far gone from the disease and started to swell beyond what the doctors could treat. After a scan it turned out the left side of her brain was dead due to lack of oxygen and the other side was showing parts where the lack of oxygen had also damaged her beyond repair. The doctors told me there was no chance of her waking up, she would have been severely disabled and everything that made her who she was was already gone. I said my goodbyes to her in an OR with her youngest sister by my side and a team of doctors. Moyamoya took away the love of my life and I hope that this disease will one day be treatable.

I had this procedure last week and felt great, no pain. Just a scratchy throat from the intubation but that went away in 2 days and I ate popsicles to help. Also mine was outpatient and went home the same day. Everything was fine.

Having sinusitis bout for 4 months now.. antibiotics help but then it comes back the infection. I also have psoriasis so most docs tell me surgery wont help. Yes prophylaxis is best way to control sinusitis. Currently losing some smell and brain fog sucks. Nasal cortico sprays also contribute to brain fog. This disease sucks life out of you..
